In helping everyone out there with their New Year's resolution - we went out and sampled a bunch of light beers. And Hops needs to send out a huge thanks to the Penguin for his input, and after much consideration we have gone with Ellis Island Brewery Light beer on tap of course. Talk about a classic light beer made in the American tradition. -- Very good. Light, crisp, goes down very smoothly. Half to 1/3 the calories of most of the other beers. Another good summer beer. Could sit poolside and drink this beer all day long.And Ellis Island Casino is one of those hidden little gems in Las Vegas. Looking for a fun place to go to get you off the congestion and crowds on the strip. The Brewery offers free brewery tours - just have to contact Ellis Island for more information. They have a lounge there that is famous for Thursday night karaoke. And of course, Home of the $7.99 Top Sirloin Steak Special, includes vegetable, potato, choice of soup or salad and an EI Draft Beer!
We were very impressed with the crisp, sharp taste of the Ellis Island Light Beer - definately had that Craft beer feel and taste to it. No after-tastes of any kind. And most importantly, did not leave you with that full feeling - even after having more then one. You can get it on tap or even better, get yourself a growler to go of EL Light today.
